David Park

Emerging Markets Fund Manager


David Young Park joined Carmignac Gestion in 2007 as equity analyst, and was appointed Fund Manager in 2012. Previously, he worked at Hyundai Securities in London (2004 - 2007) as Korean equities sales for European institutional asset managers. He holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Birmingham.

Ewan Thompson

Ewan is an Investment Director and is Co-Head of Emerging Market Equities. He is Fund Manager of the Neptune Emerging Markets Fund. He also acts as an Assistant Manager on the Neptune India Fund, the Neptune Russia & Greater Russia Fund and the Neptune Latin America Fund. Ewan previously worked as an Editor for Yale University Press, having graduated from Oxford University with first class honours in English in 2003. He joined Neptune in February 2006 and is a CFA charterholder.

Luke Barrs is Head of the Fundamental Equity Client Portfolio Management Team in EMEA at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Luke oversees the building of the Fundamental Equity franchise, drives business expansion, and communicates Fundamental Equity strategies to clients in EMEA. In his role as an Emerging Markets specialist, he is focused on helping clients gain appropriate access to emerging markets, as well as assisting with their strategic asset allocation decision making process. As part of this role, Luke worked closely with Jim O'Neill - creator of the BRIC, N-11 and Growth Markets concepts - and the Office of the Chairman within GSAM, helping launch GSAM's Growth Markets and N-11 Equity strategies. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs Asset Management he received a first-class B.A. (Hons) in Economics & Management from Exeter College, University of Oxford. He was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2013.

Richard Adams

Richard Adams is vice president and a senior investment director for American Century Investments, a premier investment manager headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri. He is based in the company's London office.
Richard is responsible for representing the firm's investment capabilities and views across all asset classes to clients in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining American Century Investments in 2018, he was a director and client portfolio manager covering global, U.S. and Japan equities for Columbia Threadneedle Investments. He previously served as a senior fixed income specialist at Columbia Threadneedle. Prior to that, Richard was a fixed income portfolio manager for ING Investment Management. He also served as a U.S. equity portfolio manager at Singer & Friedlander. He has worked in the investment industry since 2001.
Richard holds a bachelor's degree in history and a master's degree in finance, both from the University of London.
