Josh Cole

Account Manager


Josh is a financial services communications specialist with particular focus on alternative investment and fintech. He works with clients to plan and execute creative campaigns that have a measurable effect on business outcomes. With a background in digital communications, Josh specialises in delivering campaigns that drive results across both traditional and social channels.
Before joining Peregrine, he co-founded Orwell Digital, an agency that worked primarily with fintech companies, where he developed proprietary machine learning technology to deliver PR insights. He began his career in Paris, working for the startup builder AD Ventures.

Jeannie Dumas

Head of Corporate Communications & Shareholder Relations

Hermes Investment Management

Jeannie Dumas is Head of Corporate Communications & Shareholder Relations for Hermes Investment Management. Since joining in 2011, she has played in an integral role in transforming Hermes into a highly regarded investment brand, synonymous with high performance asset management, delivered with long-term societal outcomes in mind. The team has won a range of accolades, including Headlinemoney press team of the year and Investment Week CSR Campaign of the Year. Jeannie joined Hermes from Citigroup, where she was a Senior Press Officer for EMEA, responsible for equities, research and transaction services PR. Prior to joining Citigroup, Jeannie was worked at financial services PR agency Penrose Financial between 2005-2008. Her career in communications began in 2003 whilst working for a US Senator as a Legislative Adviser, where she also took on the role of Press Secretary. Jeannie graduated with a degree in Law and Economics from Franklin & Marshall, in Lancaster PA, and is an alumni of Oxford University's Said Business School.

Andrew Carrier

Chief Marketing Officer


Andrew is responsible for protecting the Dolfin brand and raising the firm's market profile while building strong, long-lasting relationships with its clients. His team manages Dolfin's corporate communicaitons, publishes and promotes its content, and delivers its ongoing programme of client events.

Andrew joined Dolfin in 2015 from Deutsche Bank, where he had global responsibility for the marketing of the bank's securities services business as well as being functional lead for its digital marketing channels.

Before joining Deutsche Bank, Andrew built up 14 years' of expertise in a variety of marketing and communications roles in the financial sector. A short stint in the back-office of J.P. Morgan Investment Management was followed by sales & marketing roles for two fintech providers, then eight years with SWIFT - ultimately as its global head of marketing communications. He also has agency-side experience having spent 18 months with Cognito, a leading communications firm for the financial and technology sectors.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Laws from Cardiff University, a Masters in European Business Administration from the University of the West of England and has completed Solvay Business School's TransConstellation Management of Financial Transaction Services programme.


Richard Eccleston

Social & Digital Media Manager


Richard is Social and Digital Media Manager at Wesleyan Assurance Society - a financial mutual which provides personal and commercial services to doctors, dentists, teachers and lawyers.

Richard is a social media specialist, managing the Society's award-winning social media activity since 2015 and generating more than 1,000 leads via Facebook and LinkedIn. He has recently expanded his role to lead a team of 4 Digital Marketers - focusing on social media, digital marketing and digital content creation.

Richard previously worked at West Midlands Police, developing and managing their social media strategy and reaching millions of people each and every week. This included creating the world's first official police Snapchat account, a world-first forensic tweet-a-thon that gained worldwide coverage, and YouTube and Flickr accounts that each gained in excess on 15 million views within 12 months.



Stephen Gunkel

Stephen Gunkel is Head of Communications at Pictet Asset Management. He joined Pictet AM in 2004. Stephen is responsible for the Pictet AM brand, advertising, communications, public relations, visual identity, video content, and the mega.online sub-brand. With over 25 years' experience in marketing & communications Stephen has worked at, Henderson Investors (Henderson Janus), Gartmore and Friends Ivory & Sime. Stephen began his career in advertising and media planning in 1990, with a focus on Asia.

Danielle Guzman

Danielle Guzman is the Global Head of Social Media & Distributed Content for Mercer, a global company with 21,000 employees in 40 countries and 180 cities around the world. As a consultancy, Mercer specializes in the health, wealth and careers of over 120 million people around the world.

Jacob Howard


Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Financial Services committee

Jacob Howard is Vice President of Marketing at Deutsche Bank's global transaction banking division, covering corporate cash management solutions for treasurers at multinational corporations.

Recently appointed as the new Chair of the Chartered Institute of Marketing's Financial Services committee, Jacob is keen to encourage the enrichment of the marketing profession in financial services and has a particular passion for digital and social media marketing in all its forms.

Jacob has worked in senior marketing roles for a number of leading financial services institutions - for stock exchanges (NYSE, Euronext), a global banking co-operative (SWIFT), an agency-broker/fintech (Liquidnet), and for a universal bank (Deutsche Bank).

As Chair of the CIM FS group, Jacob is interested in continuing to promote the culture conversation in financial services - having previously curated the Culture stream at Sibos, the world's largest banking event with 8k attendees, which covered topics such as financial inclusion, user experience, diversity, and the future of mobile banking.


Niki Natarajan

After more than 20 years' as financial journalist, specialising in investment management, with particular expertise of the global funds of hedge funds industry, Niki founded In Ink (London), company that specialises in creative content and communication.

By using a holistic coaching-based approach, In Ink (London) elicits a company's unique voice, tone and message to ensure that all content and delivery messages and channels it creates reflect the true essence of the company whether in a 280-character tweet or a monthly three-page newsletter.

For more than 12 years prior to setting up In Ink (London), Niki ran InvestHedge, HedgeFund Intelligence's hedge fund investor publication as well as its annual two-day global hedge fund investor forum and gala dinner held at the British Museum.

Prior to HedgeFund Intelligence, Niki launched the hedge fund and securities finance coverage at Financial News. Niki was also the launch editor of Global Fund News; editor of Foreign Exchange Letter; and reporter on Global Money Management, all formerly publications of Institutional Investor's newsletter division.

A qualified NLP coach and trained yoga teacher, Niki graduated in Geography from Durham University. Niki frequently moderates at investment events such as the recent Legends4Legends event in Amsterdam, Impact Summit Europe 2018 in The Hague and the annual HedgeNews Africa conference in Cape Town, as well as delivering her One Chance to Wow® related presentations on subtle (and sometimes dark) art of social media communication.


Anthony Payne

Anthony Payne is a multi-award winning corporate and financial communications consultant with more than 25 years' experience of working with clients on strategies for communicating with print, online and broadcast media, employees, investors and analysts. Prior to founding Peregrine in 2003, Anthony was Managing Director, and Director, Europe, Middle East and Africa Financial Practice of WPP owned Hill & Knowlton Financial, a global financial communications firm.

He has also held senior consultancy and board positions with global firms Burson-Marsteller, where he achieved managing director level, and with Shandwick, where he was a board director. Anthony is acknowledged as an expert in providing messaging and branding to asset management firms, and as a crisis communications specialist.

Anthony's varied marketing communications experience includes advising OM Group on their bid for the London Stock Exchange (this campaign won the award for Best Financial Communications Campaign in 2001); employee communications campaigns for Coca Cola, Kimberly Clark and Colgate Palmolive and integrated marketing communications campaigns for Brevan Howard, Harvest Asset Management, EI Sturdza Asset Management, Wells Fargo Asset Management, Mirae Asset Global Investments, JP Morgan Private Equity, Citibank, Credit Suisse, Chenavari Financial Group, Acadian, Skybridge, Julius Baer and PricewaterhouseCoopers.


Kathryn Sutton

Kat is responsible for strategically leading and managing communications across a range of digital channels, including web, social media, email, intranet and mobile applications. As an adviser to business heads and groups, she also works closely with individuals across a range of business functions, geographies and communications channels to ensure consistent application of best practice and adherence to global business strategy.


Nick Laurance

Nick Laurance is a content strategist and account lead, responsible for content generation across Incisive Media's core magazines and brands as well as the wider financial services industry. He joined Incisive Media in 2016 as co-founder of the group's content marketing agency Incisive Works. An editor and writer for ten years, Nick has worked on 40+ content marketing campaigns for financial services and asset management brands.

Julian Marr

Julian Marr is editor of Professional Adviser, Incisive Media's news, opinion and analysis website for UK financial advisers, as well as its sister publication Multi-Asset Review. Prior to rejoining Incisive in March 2016, he was editorial director of financial adviser resources Adviser-Hub and Events-Hub as well as a regular contributor to a variety of financial magazines and co-author, with Cherry Reynard, of Investing in Emerging Markets - the BRIC economies and beyond, published by John Wiley & Sons. Before joining Adviser-Hub in 2008, he was editorial director of Incisive Media's Investment Division, including Investment Week and Professional Pensions. His career as an investment journalist, writer and conference moderator now spans more than two decades, including five as editor and then publisher of personal finance magazine Bloomberg Money. He used to be a solicitor but that really was a very long time ago.
