Methodology

Submissions will be marked against a range of criteria including:

  • Clear identification of sustainable objectives including environmental, ethical and ESG investment objectives
  • Performance
  • Experience in sector
  • Communication to investors
  • Transparency
  • Reputation and Compliance
  • Levels of ongoing service and support
  • Overall quality of submission

The awards may also include an element of online voting.

Along with submissions, the first round of judging will be also based on a mixture of quantitative and qualitative analysis using resources from third party providers. A shortlist for each category will be drawn up to progress to the second round of judging, consisting of a panel debate to determine finalists in each category. From the finalists, the judging panel will decide on the winning and highly commended entries.

All information submitted will be for the use of judging and will remain confidential.

The judges' decision is final. The judges have the right to determine the standards of an award and to withhold an award in any category, if, in their view, the entries are not of sufficient merit. The judges also have the right to give a special award(s) if deemed appropriate.

Terms and Conditions
The awards scheme is administered by Incisive Media, which will appoint a judging panel, composed of experts involved in appropriate industry sectors. Entrants are required to complete a submission for each award they enter. Submissions will be judged according to the stated criteria. Those judged best in their category will progress to the finalist stage. From the finalists, the judging panel will decide on the winning and highly commended entries. Third party agencies may be used to assess submissions and online voting will also be used. The judges' decision is final. The judges have the right to determine the standards of an award and to withhold an award in any category, if, in their view, the entries are not of sufficient merit. Judges have the option to option to construct shortlists of between 3 and 10 entries, depending on quality of entrants. The judges also have the right to give a special award if deemed appropriate.
