City Hive is dedicated to uniting, supporting and championing women at all levels of asset and investment management.
Their vision is of a more balanced industry with a positive inclusive culture that enables both genders to be proudly recognised for who they are and the complementary talents they bring. They want to challenge the unconscious gender bias in our industry with the knowledge that women bring something extra to the corporate table: valuable traits that harmonise with, rather than undermine, male contribution.
Bhavini ‘Bev' Shah, City Hive's Founder and CEO says "Gender diversity is what we need in our Industry; both women and men represented, and a vibrant mix of biases, backgrounds and beliefs positively encouraged to refresh, revitalise and rebalance the decision-making process."
Through an online platform, they are building a strong, supportive community providing advice and comradeship and plan to launch several initiatives including networking events, professional development workshops, online magazine, cross company mentoring scheme and careers portal.
