An employee since 2003, Claire previously worked within the Risk Management Group. Claire obtained a B.Sc in Geography from the University of Bristol and is a CFA Charterholder.
Lead Portfolio Manager Emerging Markets Equities
Ian Simmons joined the firm in 2004 from Fidelity. He started as an Asian Analyst before transferring his coverage to Latin America. Ian has been the Lead Portfolio Manager for Latin American strategies since 2009. He was appointed as Co-Portfolio Manager of the Emerging Markets strategies in 2017 becoming Lead PM in 2018.
Ian holds an MA in Geography from Cambridge University and is a CFA Charterholder.

Sam Bentley joined Eastspring Investments, the Asian asset management business of Prudential plc, as Client Portfolio Manager, in August 2008.
Sam is the Client Portfolio Manager for the Regional Asia and Global Emerging Market equity strategies and is responsible for representing the views and the strategies of the respective investment teams.
Prior to joining Eastspring Investments, Sam worked at Henderson Global Investors in London for 8 years and has 19 years of financial industry experience

Salman Siddiqui joined the company in June 2017 as a portfolio manager in the global emerging markets equity team. Prior to this he was at Nomura Asset Management from 2007, where he worked as an equity analyst until he was appointed as a fund manager in 2009. During his time at Nomura, he took on fund management responsibilities for a number of strategies including: the Nomura Arabian Fund, the Nomura Turkey Fund, the Nomura Africa Fund and the Nomura Frontier Fund. He has 16 years' experience, having started his career as a capital markets analyst at Citigroup in 2001.

Wouter is Portfolio Manager of Vontobel Fund - Emerging Markets Corporate Bond and Emerging Markets Debt. He joined Vontobel Asset Management in April 2013
Prior to joining Vontobel, he headed the Business Control of the Central Portfolio Management unit within Gaz de France (GDF) Suez. He was previously Portfolio Manager at Dexia Asset Management (now Candriam), responsible for Credit and Total Return Bond Funds.
Wouter Van Overfelt holds a PhD as well as a Master's in Applied Economics from the University of Antwerp.
