Catharine Flood

Client Service Director

Baillie Gifford

Catharine is a Client Service Director in the Clients Department. She joined Baillie Gifford in January 2008 and is the client contact for Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust PLC. Prior to this role, Catharine specialised in the firm’s EAFE Alpha and Diversified Growth strategies, servicing institutional clients in North America and the UK. Catharine graduated BA in Law from Clare College, Cambridge in 1999. She spent a short period working in China before being called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2003.

Cristina Dondiuc

Cristina Dondiuc is an Investment Director within the Fidelity equities team, based in London. She is responsible for communicating the European and Emerging Markets equity team investment views and portfolio strategy. Previously she worked in institutional and high net worth sales teams. Cristina holds a BS in Accounting and Finance from the University of Warwick and is a CFA charterholder.

Peter Stage

Peter Stage joined EJF Capital in 2013, is a member of EJF’s executive committee and is located in EJF’s London office. He is responsible for identifying investment opportunities in the European fixed income, equity and private markets with a focus on the banking sector. Mr. Stage was previously Head of Credit Research at F&C Asset Management where he also analysed the banking sector. Prior to joining F&C in 2008, Mr. Stage was Head of Credit at Gordian Knot Limited, an investment management company which he joined in 1998 as a bank analyst. Mr. Stage holds a BA in Economics from the University of Manchester.

Nick Brind

Polar Capital Global Financials Trust plc

Nick Brind joined Polar Capital in September 2010 following the acquisition of HIM Capital, and is co-manager of the Polar Capital Global Financials Trust Plc and manager of the Polar Capital Income Opportunities Fund. Nick has 25 years’ investment experience across a wide range of asset classes but since 2009 has focused solely on the financials sector. Prior to joining HIM Capital, Nick worked at New Star Asset Management. While there he managed the New Star Financial Opportunities Fund, a high-income financials fund investing in the equity and fixed-income securities of European financials companies, which outperformed its benchmark index in all six years that Nick managed it.
