Charlene joined UKSIF in September 2013 as a Programme Manager before becoming Communications and Campaigns Director last year. Charlene directs the UKSIF brand, PR and communications. Communication goals range from helping investment analyst to integrate ESG and sustainability factors to encouraging asset owners to meet their fiduciary duties around financially material ESG factors such as climate change. Charlene also directs Good Money Week, the annual campaign to promote sustainable and ethical finance and investment to retail audiences in the UK. Before UKSIF, Charlene worked on cause and policy-led campaigns and marketing for charities, think-tanks and campaign groups such as Centre for London and 38 Degrees. Charlene has a degree in Politics and Philosophy from the University of York.
