Helen Bradshaw is a portfolio manager at Quilter Investors focussed on managing multi-asset income portfolios. She has over 15 years of investment industry experience and joined Quilter Investors in January 2019 from Janus Henderson Investors, where she ran a number of multi-asset income strategies. Helen holds an LLB law degree from Exeter University, the Legal Practice Course from the University of Law, Guildford as well as the Investment Management Certificate.

Prior to his current role, Alan served as a Sales Director - UK Financial Institutions at Janus Capital. He received a BA Hons in Business Studies with H.R.M from University of East London.

Dan Franklin joined Pictet Asset Management as Head of Wholesale UK in September 2017. Based in London, Dan focusses on developing the Wholesale business in London & the Channel Islands.
Prior to joining Pictet Asset Management, Dan was a Business Development Director at Legg Mason for nearly 6 years. He has also held roles at Legal & General Investment Management, Threadneedle and M&G.
Dan graduated with a BA in History & American Studies from Middlesex University and holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC).

He joined from Schroders where he worked for 20 years in various roles within distribution, multi asset and the hedge fund business based in Guernsey, London and Singapore. Prior to Schroders, Simon worked for Barings Guernsey, having previously served in the British Army.

Rodger Kennedy

Rodger is the Head of London Wealth within the UK Client Group at Investec Asset Management. He is responsible for distribution to discretionary wealth managers and stock brokers as well as multi managers and private banks.
Prior to joining Investec Asset Management in 2001, Rodger began his career in the financial services industry in 1997 with Bell Lawrie in Edinburgh where he qualified as a stockbroker.

Rodger has passed the Registered Representatives exam from the Securities Institute, and holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and FPC Qualifications from the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Whilst retaining his role at Skerritts he has joined 8AM to run the Focussed Fund with long time associate Tom McGrath, aiming to bring a straightforward and sensible approach to achieving consistently above average capital growth for investors.

In addition, Joe is Head of Investment Trusts and responsible for business development in the North, midlands and Bristol. He joined Legg Mason in 2007 from Barclays Wealth where he worked as a Private Banker. Prior to that, Joe spent 8 years working as Portfolio Manager for Rensburg Sheppards. Joe graduated in Philosophy and Politics from the University of York and is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI.

Before joining Wellian, Richard was formerly the Chief Investment Officer at AXA Architas Multi-Manager where he helped them to grow with assets of over £7bn, and before that he was Head of Multi-Manager at F&C Investments where he launched the LifeStyle range of funds and grew assets to over £1bn during his tenure.

Bev Shah

Bhavini ‘Bev' Shah, is the Founder and CEO of City Hive, the only professional network dedicated to uniting, supporting and championing women at all levels of asset and investment management. Prior to setting up City Hive she clocked up over fifteen years' in the City at some of the world's largest financial institutions - Aviva, Aviva Investors, Merchant Securities (now part of San Lam UK), HSBC, Bear Stearns & Lehman Brothers. She has extensive multi-asset multi-manager investment and governance experience as a portfolio manager and research analyst with a 360-degree understanding off the industry having held positions on both sides of the fence (platform, asset manager and private client investment manager). She holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Accountancy from City University (CASS) and is an Advisory Board Member of the Association of Professional Fund Investors (APFI). As a British-Indian dyslexic woman, Bev's strength is diversity.

Ebru Smith worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years starting her career as an analyst & reporter at Bloomberg when they first launched their offices in London. She briefly worked as an Economic Assistant at the British Embassy in Ankara, followed by her role as a Client Services Manager at Schroders working with institutional pension funds. For 10 years she worked at Reliance Mutual Insurance Society managing a £450mn UK Equity Fund as well as co-managing the Society's other funds including their Life & Pension Funds. She worked as a buy-side analyst at Duncan Lawrie Private Banking helping the team set up tailored portfolios using her skills in portfolio construction and asset allocation. She was appointed Director at Brewin Dolphin, charged with managing their £550mn AUM as Head of Portfolio Management. She decided to start up her own company in 2018; Ebru Smith Consultancy Limited, to make better use of her multi-skills and give something back to the industry as an analyst, trainer, mentor & marketing consultant at Denny Ellison and as an investment consultant for Incisive Media.

Mark began his career at Sun Alliance Insurance Group, Manchester in 1979. Six years later, he joined Mortgage & Insurance Services as a Financial Advisor, prior to being enlisted by Royal Trust Fund Management Ltd in 1998 to act as their Regional Sales Manager for the North of England. After three years at Scottish Widows Investment Management Ltd, working as the Broker Unit Trust Manager, Mark joined Credit Suisse Asset Management Ltd as UK Sales Director, Head of Retail Sales. After spending thirteen years with Credit Suisse, Mark left to found River and Mercantile Asset Management LLP as Managing Director, Wholesale Distribution.

Ruli Viljoen

Ruli Viljoen is Head of Manager Selection for Morningstar's Investment Management team in the EMEA region. She is responsible for driving the research efforts of the investment team to ensure best ideas are surfaced and reflected in the Morningstar client portfolios and client panels, as well as ensuring that there is a buy list of suitable alternative funds at all times. In addition, Ruli is involved in the management of client relationships.

Ruli joined Morningstar in 2010 through the company's acquisition of OBSR, where she had worked since 2009. Most recently she served as head of investment research for Morningstar's open-end manager research in the UK.

Prior to joining OBSR, Ruli managed the long-only fund of funds portfolios for TriAlpha Investment Advisors, a London-based asset management group. She was previously a private client relationship manager for Nedcor Investment Group, a private banking organisation based in South Africa. She has worked in the UK fund research industry since 1996 and the investment industry since 1987.

Ruli holds a B.Soc.Sc in Economics, with honours, from the University of Cape Town. She also holds the Investment Management Certificate and the Investment Advice Certificate.
