The Personal Investment Management & Financial Advice Association (PIMFA) is the trade association for firms that provide investment management and financial advice to individuals, families, charities, pension funds, trusts and companies.
Our objective is to create the optimal operating environment for our member firms to deliver their services and meet client's needs. Operating for over 28 years, the association was renamed as PIMFA in 2017 following the merger between APFA and the WMA. PIMFA leads the debate on policy and regulatory recommendations to ensure that the UK remains a financial global centre of excellence.
The Diversity Project Charity's initial aim is to raise significant funds to help charities who have been affected by the President's Club disbandment, as well as supporting a small number of regional charities focusing on inclusivity. From 2020, we will in addition, support further charities and research focussing on our social mobility, diversity and inclusivity aims.
We have had a busy year at The Diversity Project Charity, so far having helped 21 Charities and made £386,731 in grants. In addition, we will be asking all suppliers to provide detailed information on their sustainability credentials and initiatives, we will ban plastic straws at all of our events, and we will focus on and highlight how to travel to our events via public transport.
